Hi fellow furs. On behalf of MNFurs and myself I wanted to thank everyone who was able to make it out to the Fall Picnic. I hope you all had fun. It was a beautiful day out and further proof that any date I pick it will rain (For those who were not aware the date of the picnic was voted on via a Facebook poll. I left the date in the hands of you the community which is why we had nice weather!)
I want to also thank all the volunteers who pitched in and help make this picnic work. Aerak for printing and cutting up the badges. Zmeydros for helping to organize the the pavilions. Tek for being master of the flame. Jade for helping organize the food. Cyber for keeping an eye on the sky for us. A few times I swear it was about to rain. But was assured it wasn’t anything to worry about, and lo and behold it stayed dry! Lego and Flip for helping with load-in and tear-down. Speaking of which a special thank you for everyone who stopped what they were doing at the end of the evening to help clean and pack up. I’m 100% certain this was the fastest load-out we have ever had at a picnic. You all rock.
