If people like the venue and would like to do this again someday please order something and tip generously. The better patrons we are and the more we give them the better chance we will be able to use this venue for future meets and events.

Your friendly admin would like to say we are officially upgraded and moved to a new forum software. This was done to give our users the features they want and room to grow.

The new forum url is http://www.mnfurs.org/forums/ this is same URL as the old and again this should be the forum software we use for a long time. So start using it now.

Because of the move to the new software will be losing our old posts on the old forums so you will want to back them up and move any important information to the new ones. I will be keeping the right side bar as a way to get to the old forums – also you can get there by going to http://www.mnfurs.org/about/oldforums for a few weeks.

So if you see anything strange on the new forums or need some changes please tell our crew.

The august 21st 2010 meet is still being held at perkins. For more information check out the Bi-Weekly Meet Page.

This Event REPLACES the Perkins Meet so there will be NO normal Perkins meet this weekend. (check the event details link below for a map and address) This will be on Sat Sept 4th;  Same time, 5pm.  The Restaurant is not 24 hours and closes at midnight.

The food quality is good and price is around or below the same price as Perkins.  Note this is mostly Mexican food; they have some American options such as steak and salads but it is a little limited for those who want something other then burritos and tacos.  That being said, the food is good and you get good sized portions for reasonable prices.

There are three parts of the restaurant plus a downstairs room.  The upstairs portion has one main dining room plus two semi-private rooms which are both individually bigger then the space we have at Perkins.  We have an arrangement that as long as people are ordering food we get the upstairs room for FREE.

When you get inside the restaurnt, take a right and head back to the last section of the Restaurant on the far end. We will be at the back-end room on the main level.

PLEASE order something even if it’s just a drink or appetizer. Our chances of coming back here for future events all depends on the manager being happy with our group taking up a significant part of his restaurant during prime-time.

Call this a dry run, if you will.  While this will not replace our Perkins meet location with this restaurant we would like to do future events here, and possibly ease our presence at Perkins with an occasional off-perkins meet like this.

Since this is our first time at this venue, we do ask that Tails/Ears/Suits and fursuit parts are left in the car.  Also please be careful of drawing/displaying adult artwork around the staff.

MNFurs will be having a Halloween event in a hotel in the twin cities.

While not all the details are finalized (hotel location and date), what we can tell you this: the event will cost $5.00 a person and is planned to be a an all day and all night event that is friendly to fursuiters, artists, writers, gamers and heck everyone! This will be a lot of fun!

So keep track of the Halloween Event Page and talk about what you want happening at this event in the MNFurs Forums because this will be a blast and an event no one will soon forget.

Tribal – the theme is around tribal.

So spin ideas of what tribal means to you and the fandom and suggest them here and in the forums.
