I have a question, since I'm new to the group, I have a couple of friends that are new to the furry fandom or enjoy seeing and creating anthropomorphic art. They are not apart of the forums nor the facebook group, but are still interested in coming to the next meet, which is on December 10th, can they still come despite not being on either group pages?

Yeah. Most people don't seem to visit the forum, anyway.

Absolutely. MNF events are open to public unless specifically stated otherwise. The truth of the matter is only about 1/3 of MNfurs use forums. Most of the artist prefer FA or DA, which is unfortunate as we can not control this space and therefore is open to behavior and actions we may not endorse. Many casual fans also do not have interest of actions/discussions of forums, but will still attend picnics and hotel events. There is lastly a minor perception that forum does not always listen to input of others. We are an opinionated crowd with a very wide difference in life experience.as such sometimes miscues in discussion are seen as dismissal or ignoring, but more often then not are more complex issues based on necessity of responsibility or moral obligation. , come draw, come and create and enjoy each others company.
However, with this said, the underlying invited is come play, come draw, and come create anthropomorphic ideas with like minded company.

I think the best way to put it.
MNFurs is not an internet group. We are an active group in the community that happens to have an internet presence.
We are also an open group and everyone is invited to come to our events.
