There’s a lot of  confusion on changing avatars in the forum.  The reason a lot of it is there is well it seems the to two programs are fighting who can do it and well the forum software loses a lot.

So let me tell you the full proof way of changing avatar on the web site.

Step 1:

Go to http://www.mnfurs.org/wp-admin…..rofile.php

This is where the “master site” profile is located.

Step 2:

Scroll to the bottom there should be a section called Avatar Upload

If there is a Current Avatar you must click “delete local avatar” and then press “update profile” before going to step 3.

Step 3:

In the upload avatar section choose a file for your new avatar and then press upload.

Step 4:

Success!  You should have a new avatar on both “the site” and the forums. 

Again millage will vary but for %99 of people this will work.  If you have problems feel free to reply to this thread with what steps you did, which browser, and OS.

Without getting into specifics here – there was nothing wrong on your end.  That was a server bug.  Please retry and if there is any problems report back.
