This may be a silly question, and already have been answered somewhere but..
Could
the site possibly have a general chat area..? I'm just curious is all.
Would be cool to sit and talk to other furs without having to go through
the PM system.

There is a shoutbox on the front page that nobody uses. (I would guess that the shoutbox being halfway down the page is the reason.)
If there's interest in an actual chat room, Kurst would be the one to set that up. I think most people have settled for IM so far. And personally I think it's a bad idea, because it's yet another thing we would have to monitor.

I saw there is an update to it. I don't see any issues. Do a clear your cache and see if that helps. If not could you tell me what operating system and browser you are using?
P.S. I'm still looking at making, buying, finding a different options for this. It's still an experiment that I consider to work well.

The chat windows are blank white to me. I can see that people are in the chat, but no text appears except when I'm typing it, then it never shows up above in the text box. Also, no names appear in the 'People Here" popup window either.

Again it helps to list what OS and Browser. Without those I may think it's fixed and it's not. At this point I've checked a few browsers so I have to believe it's fixed.
We are probably moving off this chat platform to be honest.. I'm having to hack it to make it not interfere with other platforms and then they update it blam I'm fixing double the problems.
I've got a few other candidates and I will be looking at those over the next few weeks.

Chat is now mixing up people's names. For example, some messages I posted showed up with my name on them at first, but after I left and reloaded, they were attributed to Jojo. Last night, messages from RaidWolfie got changed to Kurst.

You know this chat solution I am liking less and less by the second ;) I have no real solution since this solution I can not get at the source code.
I'll continue to look for a new solution so I can have different bugs ;)

Imn the meantime, I would highly recommend that anyone using the MNFurs chat to clarify their identity when they begin a conversation. Someone posted many chat blurbs under my ID last night, most likely without realizing that they were doing so, so no offense taken. :3
