Well I don't know if this is the right area for this topic, so mods feel free to move it if needed. But i was wondering if there is anyone around the twin cities that plays either Warhammer or Warhammer 40k. looking for someone to give some advice to a person just getting into it and hopefully someone to play with and show the ropes.

*coughs* Well if the name doesn't tip you off any, yes I do play both Warhammer and Warhammer 40k. Not nearly as much as I used to, but I do go to the FLGS for Warhammer 40k night every once in awhile to get a game in; the regular groups I've been in outside of that have kinda failed.
Lately I've only played Warhammer Fantasy when my friend who lives in Arizona comes up to visit at this point, Warhammer Fantasy just isn't as popular. Only one gamestore in the Twin Cities has a real regular WH night and that is Tower games in Minneapolis. I've been there before and played but it can be a hassle to fight traffic and find parking. Mind you, I would still be willing to meet there.
I'd be happy to help a new player with either. I've played both for some time. I'm a little rusty with the new edition rules in 40k and have had no expereince with 8th edition for Warhammer fantasy yet (I've still to pick up the rulebook)
I have Imperial Guard, Eldar, and Chaos Space Marines for Warhammer 40k and Dwarves, High Elves, Empire and Tomb Kings (who will be shelved until they get a new army book) for Warhammer fantasy. More then happy to get in a game of either. Just pick a place and a time. Feel free to shoot me a private message too :)
