I've got 3 and New Vegas, but need to finish Skyrim before I devote time to them.

Cool, when you get done with Skyrim, Fallout is a lot like it but with some differences, and more resembles the Oblivion system as well

I actually got into Fallout 3 because somebody described it as Oblivion with guns.

For what Axle says, I hope that is the case.  It got a lot of good reception from Skyrim.  If it does, somethings might stay, other things might go.  So I'm not completly sure how it will turn out.  But if it does, the new fallout will be very open ended for potential.

After a false start and a long break, I took another shot at Fallout 3 and came to adore the series. I could spend hours on the Fallout wiki – the whole universe is so interesting! I love how it's essentially an alternate timeline.

I am not a raccoon (but I play one on the internet).

Awesome! Me as well, I love learning the story and overall the history of Fallout, I have no clue but I just cant get away from it, its awesome to know another lover of the series!
