Saint Rows:The Third is starting to look like crazy fun.  I always viewed the game series as "What if Grand Theft Auto was built by it's fans" It's never been perfect or the best but it's been just a whole lot of fun.   It's coming out on PC, PS3, 360.  And of course will have co-op play. 

The thing I like the most is they don't' take themselves seriously.  They know that it's game where people want to blow things up so the world.  So why not put zombies in the game, just go insane with gangs even though they won't be practical.  And just allow the player to do anything they want.

Nice thing about this game – I also wanted a more "cyberpunk" gang in an open wordlish game.  And they have done that with the "Deckards" outside world gang with an inside "net world" for them (which I am going to guess is just a linear One shot story arch) 

BUt in the end I just want to have fun so when I saw this ad for preorder pack "Professor Genki's Hyper Ordinary Pre-Order Pack!" I think it says it all….

So far they release the character generator and lets just say I am ready to play

I'm actually picking it up on Green Man Gaming they are PC Gaming and they are having a pre-order sale code for 15% off any preorder till monday morning (code is  PERFE-CTPRE-ORDER ) 

So Saint Row 3 comes out to be $33.98 and it's a steam game so you really don't need their client once you buy it.
