actually considering the forums for events like the spring picnic / snowpocalypse get archived itd be better to make a thread in the events forum. Ill worry about it more once we get into June since CONvergence is still a bit away.

Moved topic to the conventions section as Skystrider is right at some point the spring picnic forums will be archived.
Mind you when I first did this I was an idiot and moved and started a new thread with the first message instead of moving the whole thread (I'm not use to this forum software =).

I think we should plan on Noon Saturday meeting up, out in the main area by the pool. and either sitting at a table to talk or go to someones run and hold the meeting there.

this is really pushing it. I thought I had a room set up with friends already for the con already but I'm finding out now that I'm without a place to sleep during the con. I know it's real short notice but would anybody be able to put up an over 21 women for next weekend. all I would need is a little floor space and I do have money I'd be willing to help pay for the room as well. and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting this, I wasn't sure where to ask.

I'll be there, though I work Friday. I don't suit (not my thing) but will be wearing an MNF button if I can find it. A little reserved about being 100% open regarding the fandom at Convergence so I likely won't be wearing an actual art badge. My con badge will have "Yarrick" on it, however. If you see me, feel free to say hi! I'll be happy to answer any questions about MNFurs while I'm there

As stated I'll be around. However it is shaping up to be the busiest convergence I've had in years (if everything happens as planned which is rarely does). That means I'll be running around during the day, and in the evenings up on 22nd floor LAN gaming babysitting the kiddies so they don't destroy the computers and play nice with each other.

I personally plan to be there Friday, Saturday, and part of Sunday (if not the whole time).
Thursday is a no go – friends from AC still visiting me.
For suiting -
First of all what are people's past experience with suiting there and how did it go. Even though I suspect no problems but I wouldn't mind hearing if there is and how you dealt with standard suit problems (like heat and stupid people).
I was hoping to coordinate with people who may be suiting. I am trying to find places to change and securly store things (so far softel is the closest location i have) since I suspect they have no costume changing areas.
I plan on suiting Saturday and maybe Sunday since Friday still looks like over the top on heat plus I want to see the music guests since they rocked when they were in town a few months ago.
Anyways that's my thought dump

I'm settled into at Sofitel and just took a walk around. It's already pretty hopping. I'll be here until Sunday afternoon and Dimby will get in late Friday. I'm a little disappointed Sofawolf Press doesn't seem to be vending this year. I'm sure there will still be a good furry presence though. I'll be mostly at the Greg Weisman panels. *squee!*
I'm helping to host a Gaylaxicon 2012 party from 7pm – midnight on Saturday in room 205 if anyone wants a root beer float (home-made ice cream!).

i was there today fursuiting most of the day til around 7 ish, then I was hanging out at Con of the North with Procyon.
Ill be around tommorrow if you wanna hang out / fursuit with me.
