A faster favor run would be to skip Misery's and two of the other Korthos quests (Redemtion comes to mind, as does Sacrifices) and swap in Stealthy Repossession, Bringing the Light, and Sunken Sewer. If there's an Elite opening guide with quick feet, these quests are all fast. Especially with a somewhat powerful arcane caster or bard, as they can mesmerize most of the enemies do the locked door path in Sewer.
Also, do the 100-favor loop on all servers at least once. There are numerous Favor reward bonuses for "first time to X favor on each server" (the TP bonus is for first character to 5 favor, not doing the Collaborator, it's also supposed to be a 50-point bonus, now). The first 100 favor on each server will grant a total of125 TP (50 at 5 favor, 25 at 25, and 25 at 50, plus the normal 25 at 100). The other "extra" bonus TP tiers are at 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 favor, and are worth 50, 100, 100, and 100 TP, and are really not worth going after for grinding.
Also, there is a total of 1052 Favor available to Free players, although that requires Eliting all free quests, including 2 at level 15 (with only one for 13 and no free 14), and one at level 18 (with no free level 16-17 quests)
While I understand the appeal of Favor Farming (free TP), I can't really condone it. It just takes ages, and isn't fun to me. Since the game is all about being fun, I choose to spend the money to save the time. It can be handy for a little push (especially those first server rewards), or to buy something fun and consumable, I just don't find it a reliable way to make any serious amount of points. Also, going premium (buying points even once) is nice for the extra free character slots. It's worth considering even if you never buy points again if you really like the game.
Wish I had known that 1) you worked at Target, and 2) your discount applied to Turbine cards. I would probably have hit you up for a $25 one (if you guys have them there, 2000 points) because there's lots of tasty sales going on. I might want to do that, anyway, if I have a good way to get in touch with you.
The $9 for 750 makes that deal cheaper per point than anything but the $29.50 and $49.99 purchases, and if you have the $25 cards then that's less (with your discount) than anything but the big $49.99 level.
