I was wondering how many out there would be interested in going to Pine Tree Apple orchard in White Bear either in September or October?  I have been in contact with them and they wish to know how big a group to possibly expect and what day we would like to come to tour their facility.

I am still working with them to see if it would be possible for those interested to bring and wear their fur suits around the orchard, as of right now I am waiting for a reply from them as to if this will be possible or not.

If suits are permitted by them, how many would be interested in going sometime during the month of October when they have their corn maze open?  then we could have "Furries of the Corn" so to speak.  :) otherwise they will have a Wagon ride to take people around the orchard and let you see what they do outside, that runs both September and October.

Ok, called the orchard today and they are still discussing things with the general manager as to if they will allow suits at the orchard or not, I have a solid confirmation of a final answer by next week, so please keep your fingers crossed that they say yes but I am guessing if they have to talk things over for this amount of time we will be fur-less, only time will tell.

The have unfortunately declined the ability for us to wear our suits at the orchard, please read the post I made at the bottom for the details, I hope that many people are still interested in going even if we can't suit this year.

So 5 of us so far for interest in going, it's a good start, hope there will be more interest and I am hoping they will allow suits, still waiting on a reply from them for that part.  :) 

Still looking to see if there are more people interested in going to Pine Tree Apple Orchard in the coming months, from the general consensus it sounds like most are leaning towards October for making the proposed run, I have no new updates at this time but I am thinking to call them next week (After cat days) And see what I can find out for suiting possibilities,I would like to have bigger numbers of people who are interested as I will let them know what i have for people at that time and that the numbers may still increase at that time.

Thanks greatly to those that have shown interest, even if suits aren't allowed I would like to go forward with this event.  :) 

Ok, those who read this, check out the Edit I posted at the top of the page, this is the latest information I have on the orchard as of Noon today (8-16-12) Wish me Luck on getting suits approved but it is really out of my hands.

Ok, the final decision has been made from them on us suiting at their orchard, unfortunately they have declined the wearing of our suits at Pine Tree apple orchard, they said if we have an event in their area at some time they would like to view what we do before they would consider the possibility of us "Costuming" there.  I have thanked them for the reply and explained a little of what we do and added that since halloween would be around the corner that was part of the reason why I had asked.

Even though we can't suit there, how many people would still be interested in going to the orchard?  I would like a good strong number if possible to show we are still interested even if we couldn't suit this round and maybe others of the group could speak in person to staff about what we do while we visit and tour the facility?

What I need from everyone now is a solid date that i can tell the orchard as to when we will be showing up to tour their facility.  :)  I don't know what day will work best for those who all expressed interest ahead of time but the day that has the most people able to go is the one that will be chosen so please help me out with this part of the process.  :)
