Valley Fair is Minnesota's great amusement park but they kick it up in autumn when they convert part of the park for the ValleySCARE event. New events and scares are included in the admission with all the big rides are still running but the kiddy town and Waterpark are closed, no big loss. So join MNFurs on September 24th for the first Saturday of ValleySCARE.
We are rallying at loverofbalto apartment parking lot prior to leaving so we can cover up to 2 cars with the season pass so anyone else with a large vehicle would be greatly appreciated. The group intend to leave at 5:45PM and stay till close at Midnight. If you wish to use you own vehicle to arrive or leave at different times just remember the 10$ parking fee on top of the non-discounted $31.99 park entrance fee for arriving after 6PM. If you decide to spend the whole day the park opens at Noon and will cost you, without discounts, $42 plus the price of parking.
If you plan to meet up with the group around 6PM, meet within the front gate between the two shops.

Remember – For safty reasons the park asks us to leave the fursuits and tails at home.
So join us on September 24th for an evening of rides, food, scares and fun.

I currently work at Valleyfair, so its pretty unlikely Id get to go as a guest unless I either took the day off, or happened to work during the day and not that night 8\ Ill do my best, but its doubtful right now.

There are a few small changes I wanted to address. Starlight hours start at 6pm instead of 5pm and the ticket price for starlight admission is 31.99 not 24.99. We thought that everything would be the same, but since valleyscare is a totally different thing some things were going to change. So instead of leaving my house at 4:45pm we will be leaving at 5:45pm. Please make note of these changes if you plan to attend.

No problem updated the web site with the new information.
If I do go it may be for the whole day the difference in price is not that much.
I won't know until after my friend's wedding because that is becoming a real horror on my pocketbook.

Also a note to everyone it is going to be around 79 during the day, but once the sun goes down it is going to get pretty cold, so if you are coming to this event please dress properly, because they do not have a lot of indoor places. Just letting people know. Luckily there is no call for rain.

Cub foods has $9 off tickets…someone else told me there is a coupon in the Penny Saver as well.

@Cencewolf: If you want to meet us at the park this is okay. The big reason why I offer the meeting at my apartment is my fiance and I can get two cars into the park for free, because we have gold passes. If you go by yourself and meet up with us later you will have to pay for your vehicle. This is why I offer the meeting at my apartment. It's a nice way to save you some money.
@Kurst: If you want to stop by my apartment before you head over I have a coupon for $10 off regular admission, so you are still paying 31.99 but you get to go all day. I have two of these coupons if anyone else is interested.
