The winter parade was a success and it sounds like we have some interest in a repeat performance. There are no immediate plans for a parade, but I want to prepare ahead of time. I'm building a mailing list of people interested in participating in a future parade or helping us out.

Just fill out this wonderful little Google Docs form to get on the mailing list. This way I can contact interested people directly without waiting for them to stumble across an announcement.

would people be up for doing some summer city parades, id love to
organize some furs for my home city's parade and id be happy to pay the
registration for us to be in it if people are willing to attend.

my home city is Coon Rapids (the same city we have the Bowling event in) and the parade is roughly 1/2 mile long.

Summer parades are tricky things for fursuiters and require additional safety measures. I don't think most of our fursuiters own cooling vests, for example. A strict 1 to 1 ratio on handlers would be required as well.

Exactly what parade are you thinking of? Is it a 4th of July parade or one connected to a city festival?

Coon Rapids 4th of July Parade, I could get my folks van and have a makeshift area in it for suiters to relax, and will bring plenty of water for folks.

It is a city parade, around 1 mile , taking around 30 minutes to 45 minutes to run.
