I'm posting this direct link for ease. Artist alley is already closed but art show is still very much open. The art show at this convention is viewed by over 5000 fans. Even if you decide not to register, We may have a way you can "mail in art" as rules are described and be able to use the Furs who are going to convention to handle transaction details. Look under the rules for authorized agents. If you are interested in this feel free to speak up and we will start assigning that position to process art for people who wish to submit art but can not attend.

Sadly, I won't be able to attend Anime Detour this year because I will be out of town. I am currently working on a piece of art that I believe would usable for this kind of thing, and I'd be more than happy to submit it for use.
I'm guessing a large print of some kind will need to be supplied?

Format and art display requirements for mail in art are provided at link of original post. If you are making digital print you will need to include paperwork on how the piece is only print. I've found link to more specific information here:

Another thing for artist I just learned. Anime detour is in need of art. Not just for Art show, but for those small bits and sketches that hallmark program books. If you are a artist who can do any style of japanese art or anime style art, feel free to contact them at

Ask what specifically they are looking for and what credit you are likely to receive. Reminder this is in a book that will be seen by over 5000+ con goers. Any help they can get would be appreciated by them.

We are coming up to last days for art submissions. if anyone intends to send art to the art show and you do not have a badge, we have volunteers willing to act as the "brokers" to make sure your art gets checked in, hung and displayed. They will also make sure check gets back to yo that will come if the piece sells. All rules on how this process works is in the link provided earlier , but we will need a heads up so that our volunteers know who to look for and help them out.
