Hey all!

Not new to being a fur but obviously new here, so I figured I'd make a big scene or something to announce my arrival. X3 I'm much more of a "chatter" than a forum-poster but I suppose I'll take a peek in here every once in awhile. Hoping an admin of some kind can inform me of the language etiquette, as I tend to swear frequently when allowed (I was raised in locker-room, like some of you may have been, so you know what it's like). I have a bit of an issue with nerve damage in my fingertips, which makes finer motions a little difficult sometimes so please forgive any typos on my part.

I'm a pretty open book, so if anyone has any questions of me, feel free to ask! The worst response you can get from me is "I'd rather not answer that, sorry." Hoping to make some friends and possibly see you all around at some point! ^.^

I'm curious, what sorts of hobbies do you have?

Well I think I actually have that listed in my profile but I'm pretty new here so perhaps I did it wrong. :P

I'm pretty big into music and have been teaching myself bass guitar for a few years. I'm also a fan of Anime and video games (mostly console, though I do play the occasional round of League of Legends), though I haven't had much time or money for them as of late.

Also, capitalism flows almost as thick in my veins as caffeine and sugar, meaning I for some reason love going out to shop. Clothes, games, geek stuff, whatever, I just like spending time at MOA and the Burnsville mall in general. X3

Thanks for the welcome, Kitsunekla! ^.^

I've been a furry since I was pretty young, though I didn't know exactly what it was at that time. I saw a news report when I was… I wanna say nine or ten that showed some artwork. Some of it was… a tad racy and something in me just clicked and I was drawn to anything even semi-related to anthro art from then on. I discovered SoFurry (back then it was Yiffstar) when I was maybe sixteen and was pretty hooked, though I didn't make a fursona and start chatting til about a year and a half ago.

This place was actually suggested to me by a gentleman on pounced.org. I put up an ad just looking for friends and he responded within minutes, since I had indicated that I wasn't aware of any groups, meets or events in this state and would love any information pointing me in that direction. If memory serves, his name was "Blue Heeler" or something like that and he's a forty-something man living in Iowa (or maybe Illinois) that used to live up here.

Pretty much all questions are welcome. For a guy on the internet, I'm a pretty open book. X3

Blue Heeler use to be a major part of our community. He hosted the picnics back in the early days at his house. He sometimes gets up to a picnic or a major event in the Twin Cities.
