Just wondering if anyone local playing Champions or City Of Heroes (soon to be freedom) games.
Since both will be free to play soon I was wondering if anyone played them. I always liked City Of Heroes playing once in while though I kind felt everything got repetitious. Some reason never got too far in Champions since i felt something was off.

I am a longtime City of Heroes player. Will be keeping my subscription come release of freedom, but would be cool to see some folks show up for a bit. I have a couple other fur friends who play semi-regularly with me. =) Game is extremely accessible for new players and the leveling system permits anyone to team with anyone, regardless of level (it sidekicks or exemplars people to the team leader's level.) So none of the frustration of always making new characters to play with folks. Champions is alright, but the teaming system is nowhere near as good and the game functions better as a solo venture, imo.
For those that want the "premium" account which requires buying something they are doing a pre-freedom account for $1.99 gives a month of VIP level account that will drop down to premium starting before the game becomes Free To Play (AKA when you buy it now) Nice way to get the premium and try it now.
This does not include the Going Rogue expansion which by all aspects is awesome but still 29.99. I don't know how much it will be when it goes free 2 play.
I'm sure Kae can say more later.

If people want to play COH: Freedom, they can feel free to ask questions as I have played around a bit in the beta, and the NDA has been lifted for a couple weeks now… otherwise there's many answers on http://www.cityofheroes.com =)

Okay now City Of Heroes "is now completely" free to play.
On their site http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/…..t-freedom/ it explains how the free to play (pay to win) system works and it seems to be a good make up of what you can do for free and what you can do with some money (or a subscription).
Again the game is free to play some/most of the content but pay for extra and costume pieces.
It's fairly a good relaxing game and here are some example images.

Well black friday is here and there are some online game sales. Thought I would mention the CoH Black Friday Sale item.
For those that look at CoH and want to try it there is a VIP Starter kit on sale for .99 cents for black friday https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/Store.pl?dnv=2887170956&action=toggleCategory&category=2
Gives you a month of "VIP", points for the store (worth $5 enough for animal pack). Fairly good way to try the game, get a premium account and get the animal pack for a low price.
Sale ends Nov 28th
