Thanks to some videos, I've been introduced to an intriguing game called Terraria. From what I can tell, it seems like the best way to describe it is if Minecraft were 2D – and an actual game instead of just a massive sandbox. I'm not ragging on Minecraft, but that's where most of the fun is.

I'll probably be getting this sometime to play with my wife, so I think that means I need 2 copies. I'm… not really sure with Steam if I would, but it seems reasonable to think so. Anyway, assuming that I do, the reason I put this thread up is that copies of the game are $10 each – or 4 for $30. Since I'm already planning on getting two, it seems wasteful to no check if anyone else would like to try it for a discounted price.

And, hey, if there's anyone out there that currently plays, maybe we could start a game together some time. I don't have an ETA on when I would buy it, so there's no rush if someone wants to think it over.

Alright. This is on sale until Jan 2nd; I have picked up the 4-pack now since it's only $15. That's less than two copies would have cost me by themselves, so it seems the perfect time to get hooked up. Single copies are also on sale until the 2nd for a measly $5. Now it's going to come down to what to play: this, or Borderlands. Ah, well.

I should be at the next meet (FINALLY), if anyone wants to talk to me about it.

Last update – if you happen to get on Steam today (or really, before about 3 pm on the 28th), then you can snag this at 75% off; it's on sale for only $2.49. The $4.99 price should continue after that until the 2nd, too.

Not much else to say except that I'm finding it quite worth my money so far. It's a bit of a slow start, but it runs just fine on my laptop. Using a mouse would be optimal, but the touchpad is usable.
