Mmm…you look confused. Maybe we need to explain things.
With the pause caused by Covid-19, we at MNFurs got a chance to take a long look at our winter event known as Werecamp. We have a chance to reboot the event as staffing has changed with the departure of the event founder, Cyber. We want to thank him immensely for getting the ball rolling and giving us a strong foundation to build upon.
So, MNFurs wants to keep a winter event. We like the camping idea at Whitewater State Park. This lets us have a remote, adult focused weekend that allows for things like fursuiting, nature photography, gaming in the common area, and everything in between. Sometimes you want to see everyone. But sometimes, you want a weekend to unplug, get away from it all and just be you. Midwinter Frolic has you covered!

As this is a communal event, we need people to pitch in. We will have event staff, but they need help with things like kitchen prep, fire tending, entertainment, and other small things. Consider how you want to participate and submit it through the Midwinter Frolic website.
When we get closer to January watch for postings on the forums. This will cover volunteering, room and ride shares, and events. We want your ideas. Let us know what you would like to see and we will try to make it happen.
You have until December 26 2021 to register for a wing and all registration closes on January 9th. This is a pre-reg only event since we have food and other materials that must be bought prior to the event based on how many people show up. Pricing is $95 per person and wings are $195. These and the rooming models are explained on the website. All cars on park grounds need a valid Minnesota State Park sticker.
