Hiya fur friends,
We have just recently sent out the September newsletter with the compiled dates for upcoming events, a little post Furry Migration update, and our usual little blurb on what went down in the secret (not actually that secret) Board of Directors Meeting.
Please consider signing up for the newsletter if you don’t already get it- it’s a once a month handy little guide for what’s going on and events that are coming up!
Let’s get down to business though-
Fall Picnic is rapidly approaching! You don’t even have to pack up all your things from Furry Migration, just grab your fursuit and come on down to Columbia Park in NE Minneapolis for a fun cookout and potluck on September 22nd. Details and forum links are here. ((We are looking for grill masters! You don’t need to bring your own grill, and you can wear your fanciest apron. Please contact Kiguel at kiguel@mnfurs.org ASAP if you want to help out!)
In addition to all the coming up events and excitement, we’d like to take a moment to thank all of you who were able to make it to Furry Migration. It is with your support, volunteering, staffing, and care that we are able to make this convention a reality. There is already information about next year available on the Furry Migration website, as well as the exit survey for this year if you want to give feedback about your experience.
We are working on more youth programming and events coming up for the fall/winter season, and hope to be able to share the video that our young furs made during Furry Migration this year, featuring our own Con Chairperson, Kurst!
In addition to the Fall Picnic, we also are looking forward to several Metro Meets, an Oval Meet, and a (TBA) Fursuit Romp!
Let’s all enjoy this last bit of warm fall weather!
