We have news for you on the Minnesota Furs 2022 Holiday Party; you thought it was going to be for Christmas. Santa decided to hand it off to the Easter bunny.
Let us explain.
The party scheduled for this Saturday, January 15th is being postponed. We are disappointed that we will not see everyone this weekend, but the health and safety of our community in light of new data are paramount. COVID data has changed rapidly in just the past week. Our volunteer pool has shrunk as they consider their own health and safety.
We here at MNFurs feel it is our responsibility to protect our community and make sure that people do not feel left out. We rent this space and it is a fundraiser for all of our community. Everyone should have the opportunity to take part in our fur family events.
Right now, we are working behind the scenes for a Holiday Party likely in March. A gift exchange will happen with maybe a rabbit or not. It will be a party, we love our community and we will get together again when it. We will have more information to announce no later than Thursday, January 20th.
