Hello, fuzzies, scalies, and aquatic creatures! (and anyone I missed)
I have the happy responsibility of informing everyone that our very own candy loving coyote, Kurst Hyperyote, has been officially selected as your next Furry Migration Convention Chairman! As we wish him well on his own personal Quest for Shiny, we have a vacancy on our board of directors.
Not only do we have a director opening that we must fill, but Kurst was also the group’s Treasurer. While I would love for him to remain in that position, with no one to say “no” to him, I’m afraid that he would decide to spend all of next year’s convention budget on Acme explosives or homemade chocolate from Candy Land.
If you have any accounting experience, we urge you to step forward and contact secretary@mnfurs.org. The treasurer is a staff officer position and no previous volunteer hours with our group is required.
For the board of directors position, it does require that you have picked up at least 20 volunteer hours. If you are interested, go ahead and email our secretary. We need you and being on the board is an excellent opportunity to contribute further to our amazing community and also to unlock new skills and connections that will help you throughout your life.
Thanks for reading and we hope to hear from you soon!
Aerak
President of Minnesota Furs
