Furs at Valley Scare Hey there everybody! The days are getting shorter and it is getting dark out much more soon. There is a chill in the air and th

- Mark TwainSounds like fun! I was actually gonna go with some fur friends.Maybe i could tag along with them, and meet up with the rest of the fellow furs.
I’ll certainly be coming, but I’ll be using my ticket from last time that gives me a free admission lmao.Hey peeps!I have been steamrolled by work so I have not looked at where there is discounts. While I have an annual pass I know others do not. I know about the standard discount for prepurchase and annual pass bring a friend small discount.
But… do people know any other discounts out there?

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteKai and her mom are also interested in attending. I’ll most likely be bringing them.My bank / credit union had a discount on them. Got it for $35. Maybe other banks might be doing the same thing?I’m just curious if anyone has room for an extra person in a carpool. Contact me below if it’s possible. ^^Telegram is @duskyshadowstar
any one going by richfield and dont mind pick me up if not ill find a way. if you can send me a msg on here and ill get back to you.NopeÂ
At this point –Purchasing tickets – I haven’t found any discounts for ValleyScare time – I think they have been pulled. If you plan to go buying tickets online is cheaper than no discount. they are really pushing the 2019 annual pass and if you know you are going back in 2019 it is actually a good value.
The weather – the weather is going to be random Saturday it will rain or not. So coming earlier is recommended. I recommend bringing a poncho anyways those can be gotten pretty cheaply at a dollar store. Very useful for amusement parks.
I plan to be there a little bit eariler some rides are better experience in the day and some will be closed at night. But at 6 PM will be the meeting up at the Carosuel so we can then get together.
For those that RSVP I will be sending out an email tonight with a bit more details.

Kurst "YipYap" Hyperyote$40 for admission and $12 to $19 for parking? I’m gonna have to think about it…"The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."

My joke is this event is the event that keeps the parks open. This is a big $$$$ thing for them, the idea of rides and scares is nifty.
But yeah there is always next year…..

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteSo, no fursuits but what about Halloween costumes?
From FAQ pages
Q: Can I wear a costume or dress-up during ValleySCARE?
A: Guests in Halloween make-up or costumes are not permitted during the Halloween Haunt. Kids may wear a costume during the day at Planet Spooky.Member of Minnesota Furs a 501c3 Non Profit, former Convention Chairman for Furry Migration, volunteer, and always doings lots of other stuff.

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteWhen buying tickets – They charge processing fee online. So take that into effect. For non-annual pass holders to avoid the ticket processing fees supposedly Hevee and Cub Foods have discounted tickets that cost as much as the online without processing fees.
Other tips.
Freight Lane pass – while there is a few extras you get from it I hear it’s not worth it. With the amount of things open for mazes, shows and events you should be able to see most everything without the pass.
Get there earlier if you want to go on rides. Getting there at before it switches to “ValleyScare” gives you access to a ton of rides without the worry cutting down on the scare stuff. It’s still not Disneyland so lines will not be 180 minutes but still once Valleyscare starts the lines do get a little bit longer if the park is busy.
They have a food buffet option between 5-6:30 15.29 adults, Junior 9.29 this does include pop. this wasn’t too spectacular but it is a buffet more details https://www.valleyfair.com/valleyscare/haunt/attractions/blood-suckers-buffet
Dress VERY warm. Easier to cool off then warm up also they will NOT allow re-entree after 7:00pm. So plan for the full night there.
Pretend you are going to an Airport. If you bring a bag you will be searched. But one exception to think like airport they allow ONE bottle of water sealed per person to enter the park.
They do have drop off/pickup area. That is free.

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteGiven the only ride I actually like is thunder canyon, I think I’m going to pass on this. That and it’s not Halloween for me if I can’t dress up."The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."
