Would people be interested in a small draft held in the twin cities metro area? A friend and I would be interested in organizing a get together to play magic, eat snacks and enjoy each other’s company.
Super casual! This would be meant to gather us mega nerds rather than about competition.
I’m comfortable with pretty much any format. I usually do drafts at Lodestone Saturdays though.I’m down for itI’d be down to draft. It’s been a while since I’ve drafted, pretty much all I’ve played for the last 3 or 4 years is paper Pauper format, but drafting is like riding a bike so I’d give it a go if was somewhere in the metro area. 🙂"If it makes you happy and it doesn't hurt anyone, then it's good." - Bob Ross
Hello,Yeah I would love to draft, hang, and eat. The format for me doesn’t matter but would love to meet more mtg nerds.
I’m glad there is interest here! I would not be opposed to meeting up to play some pauper decks. Just want to make sure overall power level is even and the intention of just having fun is there.I’ll do some calling around to venues around the twin cities if they’re willing to host!
Well I can name 4 places off the top of my head. Source comics and games, Village games (owned by Dreamer’s Vault now), Fantasy Flight, and I think it’s called The Mead Hall. Fantasy themed game/cafe shop downtown."The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."
- Mark TwainYa know, if any of you guys and gals are going to be at the fall picnic I could bring along half a dozen Pauper format MtG decks and we could meet up for some casual MtG. I don’t mind loaning out decks or playing them against Standard/Modern/Legacy decks, it’d just be cool to meet some other furs to game with. 🙂"If it makes you happy and it doesn't hurt anyone, then it's good." - Bob Ross
I may bring a deck along, if I get around to brewing one. I’m still sitting on most of my M19 cards, need to finish sorting and see what I have."The problem is not that there are too many idiots in the world, the problem is the distribution of lightning."
