Planning on doing a concert in 2017 furry Migration. More to come.
Edit:
Hello everyone,
As we get closer to the Migration stage I wanted to re-iterate that we will be playing a show, and as far as I am aware our whole band will be there. we have a few new projects I would like to play for you and maybe even tip a hat to one of the fore-runners of rock history.
Attendance is free, and as we get closer we will iron out more of the details. Thank you

Sorry, not going. Too expensive.Isn’t this free?Music makes the world go around!
Isn’t this free?
I’ve seen our budget. Just the mention of free gave me a mild panic attack. =D
At this time our concerts are free to the fandom. We will play where we are allowed, but we do charge for merchandise unless you are lucky enough to grab some free merchandise from the stage =). In the future we might charge a low cover fee but nothing like that has been discussed with the band, or required by any of our venues to this date. Thank you.with love,
Risia
For now the only thing you have to pay is what you would to get into the convention. If everything goes well we will be there to rock some furry socks off. Should be quite a blast. Might even be a lil Fursaken swag to catch if your lucky! But we really just want to have loads of fun and have you all enjoy some good music!~Amorea ♥♫♪♥
Can’t wait to see and hear you guys! It’s gonna be a blastAndrew -Â https://atomik.smugmug.com/
Yes, and hopefully no scheduling mix ups this year!~Amorea ♥♫♪♥
We got little communication and no validating response to our application that tells us if we are or are not playing.~Amorea ♥♫♪♥
Amorea,I’m sorry but there must be some miscommunication between your group. I know the email correspondence we have had left off needing a demo reel, that was never provided. I’m sorry but we can not approve an act such as this without this, as I made clear in my emails.
Thanks

Good morning,Now its my turn to address the miscommunication, i feel that Ms Amorea does a fantastic job of communicating between our group, and all we are really missing is some official up or down vote on this. Universal truths are as follows;
- We have a distant vocalist who is not able to render or assist in procuring (until much closer to migration) any sort of combined recording (as he lives in texas)
- you have all from us you are going to receive.
- We are not interested in playing advanced political games to win the favor required to be promoted at this event or any other.
We are a free group made up of friends, that play the music we enjoy because its fun. We will not get paid for doing our little show here or as far as I’m aware anywhere else offering us a venue. We are offering to do this because we kinda like the conventions, (migration being one of the few we can reliably move equipment to/from) without paying airlines 50 bucks (or more) per case.
While we very much enjoy and wish to perform migration as a “home venue” what we are offering to do, is what we see as a favor, to our friends and organization alike. We are simply telling you that we would on your behest occupy a stage, and do something legitimate for 30 mins to 1 hour, in terms you might understand, this is what we call “reliable and free programming”, the grand total to us being over $1,200.00 and the total to you being a grand high $0.00.
As we are certain you have hundreds of more talented and more legitimate acts lining up we will assume that you have no interest, if that should change, feel free to contact any of us and I’m certain we can make the necessary arrangements; however, it needs to be in a timely manner in which we can actually communicate that need with our singer because you know, plane tickets aren’t getting any cheaper.
All the best, and many puma hugs

I’m by no means linked to Furry Migration other than in that I’m attending, but it seems perfectly logical to me to require a demo reel and enough info to know if they want to have any particular band play at their venue. You can’t have an unknown slotted at your event, even if they offer to do it for free, because if something goes wrong that’s a whole lot of unhappy people and it’s bad for the event and the organizers.Same likely goes for vendors–they need to provide information and show what they’ll be selling, so no one ends up selling something that will get them and the event in trouble.
Furry migration is a legitimately run venue. Just like with any venue with a stage time, some kind of previous recording or proof of what will be played is going to need to be supplied. Djs have to supply examines of the music theyre going to play, I would expect the same from any concert. Simply asking for a slot due to being local is nice, if this was a picnic or some other event smaller scale. But this is a state run convention. It honestly would be unprofessional of them to /not/ ask for some kind of proof of what your music sounds like. I could offer up to sing, but I sound like a beached whale so why would they potentially want the risk of me being on stage? Yes you’re being ‘nice’ enough to offer to do this for free, but without a demo tape what would anyone even know for the value of your work? Its nice you want to help out, and get yourself some free publicity, but in order to get a little(play time) you gotta give a little. (proof of music made)
