so ive never gone to a convention before for anything but i am for sure going to FM 2017 i was wondering when i should buy tickets and also ive heard about the dreaded registration lines whats that all about? is that just people trying to get tickets at the convention or is that something everyone has to do even if they buy tickets ahead of time? more or less im just wondering what i should do for the least amount of hassle. Also on the topic of FM for 2017 i would love to go with some other people from the MN community there is no way i will have my suit by then so im wanting to go as a handler for some one and want to get a group of 4 to go with to FMThere is still that spot left I mentioned, but it’s really up to you. We will split the price so it’ll be even. Just be sure to have money with you

i appreciate the invitation but if i remember correctly you live in Wisconsin and i really wanna meet with the people ill be rooming with before going to the convention i would feel alot less awkward that way. also i want everyone in the group to be 21 at least simply due to the fact that i know i will be drinking myself and dont want to room with anyone under aged because of that.so ive never gone to a convention before for anything but i am for sure going to FM 2017 i was wondering when i should buy tickets and also ive heard about the dreaded registration lines whats that all about? is that just people trying to get tickets at the convention or is that something everyone has to do even if they buy tickets ahead of time? more or less im just wondering what i should do for the least amount of hassle. When you should buy tickets? – When you can afford to and know for sure you are going. It’s always cheaper to pre-register and it also helps the con anticipate how many people are going.
The dreaded registration line? FM hasn’t had a bad batch of the “registration line” compared to the other cons. So far it’s been fast and if you preregister and come about an hour after registration opens it really is fast. Also if you pick up the badge on Thursday then you don’t have to worry about missing things on Friday.

I’d definitely be down to tag along with you. I do have a suit and I am 21 so no worries here, it’d be nice

I’m pretty sure I’ll be going! Right now I’m just trying to get another job so I obviously am not 100% sure. Also, I’m in the process of making a fursuit.

I was hoping to register at the spring picnic in person, because my only payment option is cash. Imagine my disappointment as I heard the news that day of not being able to take care of that task. I don’t want to take the chance of mailing in, if that’s an option, and I don’t want to burden others by registering online and use their electronic payment option. So my question is this, are there other opportunities to register in person at one of the events, and if so, when and where?Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Till your good is better, and your better is the best.
