My fursona is a sheep, and I want her to have a big afro, I’m gathering the materials to make her head, but I ran into a design problem. How can I make this fursuit have an afro?
I thought about wigs, but the upkeep will be hard. I could carve an afro out of foam, but i wont have the puffy/fluffy look I want. Does anyone have an ideas?
You could always just put polyfil in the suit head to bulk up the fur over it to get the illusion of a poofy fro if that makes sense. That or use the foam base to make a round shape to then to fur. I would suggest fur over a wig with this since the whole maintenance thing and it would probably look better and be easier tomatch the rest of the fur.artist by day, furry trash the rest of the time
It depends on how big you want the poof to look. If you know Emersalad on Instagram they have an amazing sheep fursuit and I believe they said it was alpaca fur instead of luxury fur. The fur proofs up quite a bit on the head naturally.- This reply was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by Loo.
