Early February Fur Romp
Due to a lack of snow, the sledding event is being transitioned into a fur romp!
We will be meeting at the Eastern pavilion in Bassett Creek Park, which is just across the street from Valley Place Park, for a romp! Enjoy the unusually warm weather by tromping about with your fellow furs and enjoying the great outdoors!
Looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon and enjoy the winter weather? We’ve got just the event for you! Join us at Valley Place Park and come sledding with your fellow furs! We will be meeting nearby the hill, and when the time hits 2pm we will move to the hill to begin sledding! It is strongly encouraged to bring your own sled so that you’re able to have as much fun as you’d like.
There is the potential there may not be enough snow due to the unusually warm weather. If this is the case, there will still be an event, however it will be a fur romp instead hosted at Bassett Creek Park. Keep an eye on the weather, and on social media and the MNFurs Discord to see whether the event location will be changing.

Fursuit Friendly?: Yes, if you’d like, bring your suit! Fursuits are not required to attend.
