Announcing the MNFurs 2015 Spring Picnic

MNfurs is proud to announce our Next Spring Picnic is Saturday May 16, 2015 at Hidden Falls Regional Park to celebrate our ~~11th~~10th anniversary of picnic traditions!

This year’s master of ceremony for the Spring Picnic is Kellic, who started this tradition in 2004.

I don’t see why people are so concerned about the picnics being in a “central location”.

Are none of you aware that these events draw people from North Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, and *waves* Indiana? Moving the con around 10-15 miles for the sake of the locals is minutia to the large swath of people who come from hundreds of miles away. If you’re a local, and can’t be bothered to drive an extra 5 miles to go to something at one end of the metro or another, GET OVER YOURSELF, get in your car, and I’ll give you $0.40 in gas money to stop your whining.

I’m coming to the picnic regardless of where it is. Might not suit if accomodations aren’t suitable, but I’ll determine that upon arrival.

Where: Hidden Falls Regional Park (North Entrance)
Where (Address): 1313 Hidden Falls Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55116
Where (Map): https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zD_xUKdSiUe0.k_ElLlMuynfs Why: Because its trees, outdoors, and noms, and drinks, and friends, and stuff. Expect further details and shout out requests for noms, and picnic wares sometime in the March ~ April time frame. we are going to attempt to organize the type of food that shows up, within reason. As much as I love my sugar, having every fur bouncing off the trees in the park would be…..bad. =P If you have any questions…..shoot!

Will let me know how I can help — I am willing help set up — just not a lot of walking — unless my knee is better by then! <fingers crossed>
