Suitopia 2016 – See Zootopia with MNFurs and Suit Up Saturday

Nothing says togetherness more than furries watching furries on a big screen!

Come join MNFurs and Suit Up Saturday at a private, fursuit friendly viewing of the movie Zootopia on March 5th at Marcus Cinema in Shakopee! Tickets must be pre-purchased by March 3rd. Tickets will cost $8 per person, so come join us on Saturday! Suits are welcome in the theater, but no heads or masks are allowed outside the viewing room. Doors will open at 6pm, with the movie beginning at 7pm. The address and map to the location can be found here.

    – FURSUIT CHANGING UPDATE –

     

    Hey everyone, we have great news to share!  We have been given a bigger theater for our private viewing of the movie and with that, people can find one of the many open areas to quickly change in and our of suit.  You can also store totes in our room, but please try to keep them out of the way of where lots of traffic will be.

     

    – SUITING IN LOBBY AREA –

     

    In other news, it is still not confirmed yet on whether or not suiting is allowed in the lobby/concession area.  We hope to have an answer tomorrow or Saturday sometime.

    One of my favorite places in Shakopee is El Toro!1120 First Ave E — 952.496.9080. It is a family operated Mexican restaurant — the staff and cooks are wonderful!! I could call them if you want me to — when you have a head count and appropriate time you would want to be there.

    Hey there!  A big group photo will be held in our theater room between 6:30 – 6:45.  When the time is close, we will try to pull as many people as possible who want to be in it.  This photo is open to everyone, including non-suiters!  🙂

    Photos will be taken by anyone from the SUS team as well as Yarrick and Kehmet.
