The winds of spring change is blasting away the cold winter snow hopefully for good. With that MNFur would like to let everyone know the details on how the Spring picnic are starting to shape up. This year, due to the predicted rise of flood levels along the Mississippi, St Paul has closed down Hidden Falls for the month of May. Since MNFurs know that people love the Hidden Falls location we had to look far and wide for something that our furry community might call a place they can roost for some springtime fun.
After much searching the Twin Cities we have found this year’s new home for the spring picnic. And we do think it’s a place that everyone should enjoy. The Spring picnic will be at Trapp Farm Park in Eagan on May 14th.
Starting after 11AM – MNFurs Spring Picnic at Trapp Farm Park in Eagan will get going bringing old familiar faces and games into a new location, with new people, and new adventures.
However, that’s not all. We are going to be adding something new to the mix this year in addition to the new location. Pretty consistently after every picnic there are more than a few people who really don’t want to stop the fun. Hey. Who are we to argue? So with that in mind when dusk falls and the picnic ends the fun will shift and continue at 10PM over to the Geek Community Center over in Minneapolis where we will continue the fun until 1AM or until people start passing out, whichever comes first. However if you pass out we reserve the right to draw on you and mock you mercilessly. Mwahahaha.
