This is one of my non-anthro poems. Posting this so others can get a taste of the poems I write when I am not in the furry realm. Enjoy!

We use to be here and together
Too much time has gone by, so sad
Our bond is MIA and severely severed
A thing called togetherness is what we hadCloudy days upon me, that’s all I see
Feathers are ruffled and I cannot flee
I’m on my knees and trapped with no key
I then begin to ask in time, what will I be?Where have you gone my friend? Please tell
What happened to us? Everything fell apart
Pieces are lost and are not found in this hell
I was blind to all of this and was not smartI would take it all back if I could abide
Build us up again and take it to the sky
I’ll be okay in time as my pain can’t hide
I would bind us together now if I could fly©2012 ~ DrakeM
