Based on a render a friend did…Enjoy!
* * * * * * * * * *
My figure is shattered and beaten
Fur coat damaged and very ruffled
My paws ache at every movement
My thoughts are a blur and shuffled
The sky darkens and I look down
I hear the thunder and see flashes
I smile as I continue to look down
I feel drops…I feel the splashes
The drops come down much thicker
I then look up and let the wetness hit
My fur becomes soaked very slowly
In this very moment is where I fit
I feel like the heavens are cleansing me
Washing my troubles away quickly
Reign over me and wash my pain away
Wash me down gently, but very swiftly
I then whisper to myself very softly
Like speaking in tongue to my god
I speak as I am washed away this day
Let it reign, let it not stop, I then nod
