MN Ren Fest invasion!

I was just giving days I KNOW im working.  Other days I’m backing up and helping out.    To be fair, the most needed weekend for me was the 14-15th of September but I am helping out with something else…..oh wait…Picnic/Con Zero

Ok for those of you who have been at the Petco Fundraisers it seems that my dad is going to be wearing his Gandalf costume and attending the Ren Fest on the same day as the invasion, this could get to be quite interesting as he may claim we are all his pets.  *laughs* well a wizard would need creatures for their added defense right? anyway, figured i would toss this bit of humor and interest to people.  🙂

Well I just found out my parents are going to be out of town that entire week. I live really close by to the Ren Fest, which makes me wonder if anyone would be up for some sort of movie/game/party afterwards at my place?

Sounds good.  🙂  Gates open at 9am but they do an opening skit prior to 9am and people can come and go as they please from the festival, I am looking forward to seeing many of us there and hopefully the weather will be nice, not wet and not too dusty but with a nice breeze.  🙂

Well i have no idea when most people are coming but it would be interesting to see if we can have most of our group (Or at least those going) show up by 11 and then get down to the bear stage for the vilification (Insult) tennis to populate the seats and have a fun time.  thus far I have sat in suit out there for the last 2 years an none of the staff have picked on me, maybe they think I am part of the staff, I have no idea but it is a 45 min no holds barred “Performance” as they call it their “Let’s see if we can get fired show” which has been going on for at least 5 years that i know of.  🙂

I will be trying to get in as soon as they open, I met a lady working there that said she would get me in early if I were to deliver a secret santa for hear, lol she wants me to tell here secret santa that she is a foxy lady lol.

I will deffenetly be there especially since I work at a children’s game booth called Children’s Trilogy of Games. I would love it if you guys came over to visit and stuff. I know it would deffintly attract children which would be awesome since we try to make enough every year so we can actually donate to charities.

I know exactly where that is and i know someone else who should be working that set of 3 games too, likely you will meet her while you do your part.  I try to swing by there if possible, I just hope the weather will be nice that day so those of us who will be suiting will do so.  🙂
