Edit: I signed up for both Saturdays and both Sundays.I took all available days, need some community time.I sure hope I can volunteer again this year! This is something that flyin fox and I are discussing. Nothing for sure yet, but maybe =3
Wut o.o
Im Sike AND Banana
I signed up for Friday and Saturday both weekendsElectronic Music - EDM, Industrial, Synth
Nocturnal - You will rarely see me during the day, I work nights
Demi-Sexual - Fun first, flirt later
Foodie - Food Adventures constantly, not a fan of fish thoughAwesome to see so many signing up, I’m going to be there shooting as a handler for all five days to help coordinate things. It really means a lot seeing you guys showing up and volunteering there, Como loves us, and we’d love to do more with them, so putting our best foot forward is the greatest thing we can do, and you guys have some big feet to put down, huzzah!
Updates! We’ve had a lot of interest so far, so thank you to everyone who’s already registered. We are still welcoming participants for all days, but especially for Friday and both Sundays.
If you’re interested in attending, please make sure you register on our web form before Saturday, 10/4/2014!!!
If you haven’t previously attended ZooBoo, you’ll also need to attend an orientation. Please review the dates on the form and make sure to sign up at least a week before the scheduled orientation date!
Other notes:
- The number of handlers we need will be based on how many fursuiters we have. Everyone who has signed up so far should expect to attend on the days for which they registered. If for some reason your presence is not required, we will let you know well in advance.
- To simplify things from a handler perspective, we ask that handlers avoid wearing costumes of any sort.
Thanks again, and please post here or send us a note if you have any questions!

So if we need more handlers on a certain day based on fursuiters signed up, can you let me and others know so we can not wear suits maybe?

Definitely. Once registration ends we’ll look at the final breakdown and make sure everyone is aware of what they’ll be doing on a given day.
Also – anyone who has used the MNFurs web form to sign up for ZooBoo should have received an email from Como at this point. Please let us know if that is not the case. You should be receiving info (including a parking pass) in the mail sometime within the next couple of weeks. Are fursuit partials ok?Are fursuit partials ok?
Partials are fine as long as no skin is visible and the suit/character is not scary.
I would really like to do this, but I live in Chaska and don’t drive in St. Paul. I could meet someone at Mouring’s place in Eagan, if anyone is willing to pick me up.I don’t have a fursuit (yet) but I could learn to be a handler.

Help me remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I together cannot handle!

The orientation is at the Visitor’s Center (the main Como Zoo entrance), which is also where you’ll sign in/out at the event itself.
