As am I I believe.
"You decide the outcome of your success"
They will have a costume change areas in Como Zoo they reserve. Big things to note – It’s not secure storage so no real valuables and if you are stripping down and/or shy you can always use the rest rooms for changing. The stalls are big there.
Thanks! Shyness is directly proportional to the level one needs to strip…
Would a green thorn monkey be useful? If so, I may be able to bring a couple tarps if it’s possible to rig up something and if that would be useful to others as well.

You are absolutely welcome to attend if this sounds enjoyable and you are available! As for tarps, I’d recommend against it. As Kurst mentioned, bathrooms are available in addition to the main changing area and have plenty of space. Another suggestion is to wear your under layer to the event so you don’t have to change when you arrive, which should save you some hassle.

I think I’ll have to try this. Since there’s no secure storage and lacking any pockets in a fursuit, how does everyone handle storage of wallets, etc? I assume we’ll need to bring snacks. 🙂

One suggestion I can think of is to find a handler who can hold on to it for you. You can also keep it locked in your vehicle somewhere out of sight or your fursuit tote if it is capable of being locked.
For snacks, there is a lounge area in a big room upstairs by our changing room. There they provide bottles of water, soda, & snacks. I would suggest to not bring your own as this might be discouraging to Como’s services.

Is there a ride-share for this?I live on the west end of the Metro — I’d love to do this again — but I can’t drive all the way to Como!
I could meet someone at, like Perkin’s in Minnetonka (Hopkins).

Help me remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I together cannot handle!
A quick but important update! For anyone interested in volunteering, but who doesn’t want to be a costumer or handler, there’s a new option! Select “other” and we’ll get in touch with you about additional ways you can help at the event.A quick but important update! Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteThis should be a interesting opportunity for me. Though I am not sure if my outfit would be the ‘friendliest’ for younger kids. Shoot my outfit is well know to scare adults! This should be a interesting opportunity for me. Though I am not sure if my outfit would be the ‘friendliest’ for younger kids. I believe they only want non-scary costumes for this event.
