MNFurs in the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Parade 2014

Official Instructions & Info

• The MNFurs staging area is number 93 – this will be located on Colborne St, and you can enter near the intersection of Colborne and Jefferson.
• The staging area will open at 12:00pm and the parade will start at 2:00pm promptly.
• The staging area and lot are at the Saint Paul Public Schools Administration Building at 360 Colborne Street, Saint Paul 55102. The entrance to the staging is at the intersection of Jefferson Ave. and W. 7th St.
• There is LIMITED parking at the east end of Jefferson Avenue in the School District parking lot. As parking is limited, please carpool. Once the lot is full, you will need to find parking elsewhere outside of the staging area. The parking lot is not monitored during the parade so please do not leave valuables in your vehicles.
• Only vehicles participating in the parade are allowed to enter the parade staging area past the school building. You will not be allowed to enter the parade staging area to drop off participants.
• Please dress appropriately as there is no access to warming areas.

For anyone interested in signing up at biweekly meets

Ridayah and I will be bringing the waiver forms to the bi-weekly meets on 1/4 and 1/18. You can find him at Perkins or me at Caribou, and we’ll be happy to get you set up and hopefully answer any questions.

If you’re still interested in attending, please make a note on here and I will bring additional waivers to the event.

Great question! Turning in a waiver does not obligate you to attend, so if you fill one out but are unable to make it, just give us a heads-up. As the post said, we are also collecting donations but you are welcome to donate once you know for sure.

We’ll continue to collect waivers at the meets leading up to the parade. For anyone unable to attend any of those, get in touch with me and we’ll make other arrangements.

Ok since i haven’t seen anything covering the questions I have, my guess is they will be covered in the future information but i will ask now.

DO we have specific parking?

How about a changing area/tote storage space?

Figured i would ask on this so I can better plan for things when the time comes.  🙂

Both good questions that I unfortunately don’t (yet) have an answer to. I’ll be sure to add that info here as we figure it out.
