MNFurs July Community Bowling

Everyone, it’s that time again! It’s time for another round of fun community bowling. We will be at a new bowling venue over in the St. Paul area. Come and join all of your fuzzy friends for a fun-filled night. Don’t feel like bowling right away? There is also a built-in restaurant so please help support the venue by getting something to eat and/or drink.

We will have 12 lanes available for us to bowl in and we have a set price that everyone will pay to bowl.

Date: July 10, 2016

Time: 5pm – 9pm

Location: Mattie’s Lanes, 365 Concord Exchange N, South St. Paul, 55075

Cost: $6 – This gets you 3 games and shoes (no unlimited bowling)

Food: $2.49 – $22.99 – Sports Bar & Grille

Fursuit Friendly?: Yes, feel free to bring your partial or full fursuits

RSVP?: Yes

Hey there!  Bowling is right around the corner and with that I have some final reminders below.  Please remember to ask me questions if anything else comes up.

Notes:

– The cost is $6 and this gets you 3 games with shoes (no unlimited bowling)

– Fursuit feet are not allowed on the lanes per request by the venue

– We have no reserved room for fursuit changing and tote storage, but will try to work something out the day of

– Please remember to support the venue.  If you are not bowling then buy something from the Pub & Grille attached to the venue

– Lastly, remember to have fun and find Drake if any questions/concerns come up

– TODAY IS THE DAY –

 

Hey there everybody today is the day and that day is for some fun bowling!  Below are some final reminders and see everyone there!

I will be arriving about an hour early for checking in our group and seeing about anything last-minute.

 

* * * * * * * * * *

– Bowling is from 5:00 – 9:00

– Cost is $6 and gets you 3 games with shoes (no unlimited bowling)

– Fursuit feet not allowed on the bowling lanes and the areas where you sit ant wait for your turn.  Anywhere else is fine!

– No reserved room for fursuit changing and tote storage.  Please leave totes by in sit down tables by our reserved lanes or against a back wall out of the way of traffic.  I will be able to see if we can use their party room if no one else is using it, but that is a MAYBE at this point

– Please remember to support the venue!  I know that not everyone will be bowling and for those who are not, buy something from their attached Pub & Grille

– Lastly, remember to have fun and find me if you have questions.  For those that do not know me, just ask someone for Drake and I will be pointed out 🙂

Hey there!  Thank you to everyone who came out to make another round of community bowling fun for all.  I hope that everyone had safe travels back home.  The photos I took will be posted throughout the coming week!

With FM coming up soon, community bowling will start back up at the end of September or start of October.

I was able to finally get there albeit very late. 😛 I didn’t get to bowl this time but I enjoyed the time I was there, so hopefully I’ll be back 🙂

Side note, did anyone else notice that the staff was pretty rude? I ordered food and the employees behind the counter were swearing and fighting with each other. When I asked if I could get a pitcher of water the guy was super sassy, “Are you going to get anything OTHER than water?” Generally didn’t seem very happy to be talking to me, lol.

Matt – I am glad that you had a good time

Soupy – No problem at all.  Aside from the manager who ran the front desk and assisted with our group, yes, the Pub & Grille staff seemed that way…However, the person I got when I got drinks and food was pleasant

Mattie’s Lanes is a venue I want to use again in the future too aside from some of the staff.

Of course you can still go. You don’t always need a fursuit to go to these meets, remember, these meets are suppose to bring all mnfurs together and have fun, fursuit or not it’s still a fun way to get together! XD hope this helps XD

I didnt see anything wrong with the staff. I brought up the pizza plates and stuff and the guy asked me about fursuits and then gave me a free pitcher refill.
