Yeah! That would be flippin awesome.  If someone could bring in a tv and hook up their laptop with it, it would mean more people could watch using the same stream as to reduce the demand on the wifi. I could bring my laptop and HDMI cable if that would help.

I have this fancy thing called a Television Antenna. Kinda works like wifi and it gets the game :0!

Bad news guys. You’ll have to rely on someone else for bangin’ beats and obnoxious lights… there’s no way I’d be able to get there with the weather tomorrow. Sorry I had to let you all down by not showing. I even had a gift for the exchange all ready and set.

It looks like the only way I’d be able to get there is if the weather guys end up being straight out wrong.

Yeah the weather is something to keep an eye on. It’s best to be safe here! Then again what is a winter holiday party without winter?

– PARKING, ENTRANCE, & MISC UPDATES –

 

Hey everyone!  The winter party is this today and with that I want to do this quick post on where to park.  When you are on Civic Center Drive, where are 2 parking lots to enter the facility.  Do NOT enter and park in the first lot as that is the furthest away from our room.  Please keep driving forward to the back parking lot.  Below is a Dropbox link outlining where people should park.

When you enter the facility there is a small flight of steps with an elevator to the right.  When you go up the stairs (or elevator), go through the glass doors and go to your left.  Almost immediately on your right you will see a small sign next to some doors that say Rose Room and you can enter there.  There is also big windows looking into the Rose Room so you will see others as well.

In other news, I’ve had some people ask me if there are TV’s in the room to watch parts of the Super Bowl or anything related.  Sorry, but our room does not have any TV’s in them, but if people bring their personal laptops, the facility has free wireless for us to utilize so anyone is welcome to stream.

If any other questions/concerns arise, please let me know!

Honestly I hope the people who want to watch the superbowl will just stay home as some of us really don’t care to hear people making noise and complaints about a bad call or something else involving the game, this is meant to be a holiday party, not a Superbowl party.  Just my 2 cents worth on that whole thing.

First off, I want to thank everyone who came out to make tonight a blast.  With the weather advisories we still had an awesome turnout and it looked like everyone was having lots of fun.

I want to thank Legonnare for being my second in command during the event.  This is something I could not have done without his extra assistance.

I want to thank Kurst for handling FM registrations and MNFurs merchandise sales.  We greatly appreciate it as always!

I want to thank Yarrick, Kehmet, Euro, & Mouring for being in charge of everything photography related.  The setup for the photo shoot was awesome and it was definitely getting good use.  Also thanks to everyone else who was heavily taking photos!

I want to thank Augie Doodle for volunteering to assist with the gift exchange and handling numbers throughout the night and during the gift exchange.

Big thanks to everyone else who approached and offered to volunteer in picking things up during the event and after, the extra paws are always great help to get things done quicker.

For all of the awesome home made food items and all other food and beverage items, thanks to everyone.  Food always brings everyone together!

Lastly, thanks to all who brought in a gift for the gift exchange.  It’s always one of the fun highlights of these parties.
