Petco Spring a Pet Fundraiser

FInally got the Dates for the Spring a Pet fundraiser for Petco.  the dates are:

March 8

15

23

29

 

I am looking to try and do everything on just the Saturdays again as that typically seems to work the best and if the weather on Sat is bad we can always come out Sunday instead.  Let me know how many people are interesting in coming out for this fundraiser.  🙂

March 22nd is the pre-voting/Kokomos dinner. That starts earlier in the day and I won’t be able to make it, in general I would recommend switching it to that Sunday the 23rd.

The voting on the 29th won’t happen till later in the evening, so I don’t see a conflict here. All the other dates I should be able to make for sure except the 22nd if it stays there.

That’s fine Yarrick I just remembered i need to check the time that an awards ceremony for my Dad is happening on the 22nd as I won’t be able to make the voting at Kokomos due to that.

The Saturdays should work just fine in my opinion like in the past.

To also chime in with what Yarrick suggested, I am also in agreement to have the weekend of the 22nd changed to that Sunday versus Saturday…This is a 6-hour event and am estimating a good chunk of the community will be there.

Also, a suggestion for those interested in participating…At past Petco events, many have wanted to come last minute and some have sent me text messages or call.  This can sometimes be frustrating for an event runner as this mixes up the attendance number for suiters and/or handlers.  Try and figure out ahead of time if you plan on attending and post ahead of time so the event runner knows and can plan prior.  =)

As far as interest goes, count me in for all specified dates.  Petco is always fun and rewarding…Hopefully someone else from the Apple Valley/Rosemount area wants to tag along to pitch in for gas…Because that always helps.  =)

I will most likely just be a handler and photographer again and also assist with setup and post tear-down of everything.  I could suit since it’s easy to talk me into things.  XP

Ok due to a personal conflict on March 22nd, that Saturday is out and it will instead be MArch the 23rd for us to come out and try and help raise funds (Weather permitting)  So those that were pushing to change it to this date got your wish as if I would have tried to hold for the 22nd I wouldn’t have been able to make it and neither could Shadow due to family.

 

So i have Norfox with dates committed, anyone else want to set up which dates they wish to come out?  🙂

I should be able to make the 15th, 23rd and 29th as a photographer/handler. I may have to bow out an hour or so early on the 29th but still plan on being there.

No problems there Yarrick, people can come and go as they please, I don’t lock anyone at this event, so if someone can only show up late or has to leave early that’s fine, let me know.  🙂

I may be at either the 15th or at a later one. Depends on how busy I am while I’m in the cities on the 15th or if I have my costume done by either of those dates. Spring break is coming up for me so I should be able to get it finished.
