Come together and enjoy the outdoors as MNFurs hosts its annual Fall Picnic at Blackhawk Park on September 26th, 2015.
What: MNFurs Fall Picnic
When: September 26th, 2015, 11 AM-9 PM
Food: Potluck – Bring your own food to share with the group.
Cost: We suggest a $10 donation or more for the event. Not only does this help out MNFurs pay for the event, but you also recieve a free limited edition collectable MNFurs badge.
What to bring: Yourself, friends, games, something to share, or a stationery item (plates, napkins, condiments) of your choice. The picnic is potluck so all the food is donated by the attendees. As in past events, we recommend bringing a protein (beef, chicken, pork, or mystery) for yourself and a side to share with everyone.
To keep track of what dishes people are bringing, please use the Picnic Forum to keep track of what is being brought. Please post in the forum once you have an idea and feel free to check out what other people are bringing to get an idea what you should.
Activities: Games, Fursuit Group Photo, Volleyball Court, and whatever fun you want to do
Even though this is a fursuit friendly event, please keep in mind of the outdoor elements (rain, dirt, mud, heat, etc) that may be present at this time of year. Keep that in mind when choosing attire for this event.
Schedule: The schedule is as follows:
11-2pm: Grill Open for Cooking
11-5pm: Badges Available
12-4pm: Merchandising & Con Registration Open
1:30-2pm: ‘Grill the Board’ – come chat with board members around the grill, share your thoughts, express your ideas, complain how much we suck, we’re here to listen!
2-3:30pm: Open Fursuit Games Time
3:30pm: Fursuit Photo
3:45pm: Group Photo
4-6pm: Grill Open
Age: All ages are welcome but minors must be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied minors may be asked to leave.
