What: Regular Bi-Weekly Saturday Night MN Furs meetup, general social gathering.
When: Every other Sat night starting at 5pm-?? Perkins is open 24 hours, this is a social drop-by anytime after 5 event. (Check event calendar for Perkins’ meet dates)
What to bring: Yourself, cash for food: This is a Social “Dinner” meet and greet and Perkins Family Restaurant in Hopkins has been our gracious host for almost 6 years. We want to keep our reputation good so buying something at the restaurant supports our groups continued presence there.
People are welcome to bring small portable electronics such as Ninetendo DS’, iPods or laptops but please note: there is limited power there. Be prepared to run a laptop on battery power if you can.
Other popular activites include drawing and playing games. Bringing a sketchbook or a card/board game to share with others is not a bad idea, table space permitted.

Driving Directions:
From the North/Northeast/Northwest
Take 694/394 to Highway 169 Southbound. Take the Highway 7 exit. Head West on Highway 7 for three quarters of a mile, the Restaurant is viseable from highway 7 but you need to access it off Hopkins Crossroad. Take a right on Hopkins Crossroads and an immediate left at the next light following. Perkins will be on your left side behind a gas station on Hopkins Crossroad.
From the South/Southwest/Southeast
Take 494 to Highway 169 Northbound. Take the Highway 7 exit. Head West on Highway 7 for three quarters of a mile, the Restaurant is viseable from highway 7 but you need to access it off Hopkins Crossroad. Take a right on Hopkins Crossroads and an immediate left at the next light following. Perkins will be on your left side behind a gas station on Hopkins Crossroad.
Notes:
We have a sectioned off “room” in the back where we meet up. As you enter the restaurant go all the way to the back and right, we meet behind the portioned space in the back corner of the restaurant.
It can get pretty crowded in Perkins, especially during prime-time. Please be patient with our wait staff and be courteous to people needing to get through. We realize that at current during our busy times at the meet often times there is very limited tables and seating and is more often then not standing room only. If you want to get a table outside our reserved area to eat please get seated by a host, rather then just grabbing a table in another section of the Restaurant. Do not block the fire exit in the rear corner of the room.
