2025 MNFurs Spring Picnic
Hey there MNFurs community! The warmth of Spring is here, which means it’s time for our annual Spring Picnic! This year we are back at the Phalen Pavilion at Phalen Regional Park! Our grillmasters will be hard at work cooking you up some tasty grub for lunch and dinner, so swing by, bring a dish to share for the potluck, and enjoy a day of fun with your fellow furs! This is also a good time to meet MNFurs staff and board members. There will be activities planned throughout the day!

Tentative Event Schedule:
10:00 am – Start of Picnic
11:30 am – 12:30 pm – First Round of Grilling (Lunch)
12:30 pm – Announcements
1:00 pm – Group Photo (Photography Dept)
3:00 pm – Furry “Egg” Race Activity
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Second Round of Grilling (Dinner)
5:00 pm – Last Call for Badges & Merch
6:30 pm – Start of Picnic Area Cleanup (Volunteers Welcome)
7:00 pm – End of Picnic

It costs us a lot of money to put on these picnics for everyone, from renting the venue to purchasing the meat and grill, which is a large burden on the org. Please consider making a donation! Wondering how you can do this? We offer limited edition badges at the picnic featuring artwork from the community for a suggested donation of $15! We also accept both cash and card direct donations, and will have some merch available for sale! If you like what we do, please think about donating!

Hi everyone! My name is Axel. I’ve been a part of the fandom for 13 years (I’m 26 now), and have been drawing since I was 8 years old. Animals and fictional creatures have always been a part of what I draw. I started off with Pokemon and Warrior Cats, and have transitioned to Blue Exorcist demons and furry characters. (admittedly, I still draw Pokemon!) Outside of drawing, I have two kitties named Lucifer and Lilith and a loving partner named Tycho! A fun fact about me is that I was in the top 0.005% of Ghost fans on Spotify 😎 I am honored to be this year’s spring picnic badge artist, thank you for having me! <3

Pet Policy:
If you plan on bringing your pet, they are required to be leashed at all times, and you are expected to clean up after them. Please exercise caution when it comes to your pet interacting with other pets and other community members. If a pet is unsupervised, creating a significant disruption, or is deemed a nuisance, they may be asked to be removed from the venue in the interest of other attendees’ comfort and enjoyment of the event.
