It’s time for the Summer Bear Essentials Camp! The fun happens this time around in Moose Lake State Park for a fun weekend outside camping!
At Bear Essentials, you are required to be self sufficient. This means bringing your own tent, chairs, sleeping bag, and food! Don’t have a tent? See if you can borrow one, or share with someone else! This is an 18+ event. NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT.
Within the park there is access to a lake with great fishing, canoeing and swimming opportunities. The park also offers nice hiking trails including those around Wildlife Pond and Lake Echo.
On Saturday there will be a group outing to the Agate Museum in the park to learn about the local geology and the agate (No fursuiting allowed in the museum/center).

Join Benji the Fox and D Lanky at the Spring Lake Park reserve just outside of Hastings, along the Mississippi River. Due to the heat of the summer, the walking route will be a lot shorter, and we will be more focusing on hanging out and taking photos with the various photographers who will show up!
Please note: The park is not located downtown Hastings but Northwest of the developed area of Hastings. It is a very large park, so see the location/map for the correct park entrance and approximate meetup location, and watch the Forums and Discord for the specific parking lot the hosts will be using day of event.

Join Drake for a fun, laid-back afternoon at the Jensen Lake Trailhead in Lebanon Hills Regional Park with a mid-summer fur romp! It’s a great chance to get outside, enjoy the warm weather, and hang out with others in the community while taking in the lakeshore views and nature trails.
We’ll wander through some of the scenic trails as we return to this Southeast Metro park, enjoying a mix of relaxed walking and photo ops along the way. Come ready to stretch your legs, soak up the sunshine, show off your suit and take some photos making the most of a mid-summer day outdoors.

It’s time for the July Oval Meet! Like our previous Oval meets, these are big social gatherings where you can hang out, socialize with other furs, and have opportunities to talk to both MNFurs and FM staff.
This month’s theme is Pride! Starting at 4pm we will be having fursuit games.
Community members are welcome to bring in any other card/tabletop/board games, fursuits (partials & full), artwork supplies, and other activities! This event is free to attend, however it costs the organization money to hold. We welcome and are very grateful for donations if you enjoy the Ovals and want to see them continue.

Hey MNFurs! Was one mall walk per month not enough? Unable to make it to the Thursday walks due to work, family, or other obligations? Feel free to join us on the third Monday of every month for a mid-month mall walk!
Come join your fellow furs for a casual walk around every floor of the nation’s largest mall! We start at the first floor, making our way up and around every floor before rounding off the night in the food court!
Where to Meet: Outside of Barnes & Noble on the 1st floor.
Cost: Free to attend, the cost of food at the Food Court is typically $7-15 for those who wish to join for dinner.

Fursuit Friendly?: No, please leave your fursuits at home. The Mall of America has a strict policy against full body suits and full face coverings. Tails, ears, and handpaws are permitted.
Do you like Arcades? Like bars? Like pizza? This might be the perfect event for you! Hangout with other furs at Up-Down Minneapolis and play some classic arcade machines, socialize, connect four, and maybe get competitive with KillerQueen.
This is our weekday version of this event, meant to be held on a day where the bar might be a little more chill.
Up-Down Minneapolis features more than 50 arcade games from the ‘80s and ‘90s, pinball machines, four classic skee-ball alleys, Nintendo 64 console gaming, life-size Jenga, and Connect Four. All games cost just 25 cents, and tokens for machines can be bought at the venue.
The drink menu includes an extensive craft beer selection with over 60 beers on tap and even more bottles and cans, as well as house-made pizza by the slice with unique toppings. Be aware that Up-Down is a popular venue and can start to get pretty crowded further into the night.
This is a 21+ event.

We had so much fun at the Fall Zootopia 2 movie event that we are doing it again. Join your fellow furs at the end of August for another movie outing! This time we are seeing Coyote vs ACME on the big screen with Dolby Atmos, heated seats, food, fun, and fursuiting!
Our last event sold out fast. This time we are going for an even bigger theater with more seats and a bigger screen.
