Spring Bear Essentials Camp (18+)
We will be visiting Lake Maria State Park in Monticello for the Spring Bear Essentials Camp! During Bear Essentials, you’re required to fend for yourself in terms of bringing your own tent, food, and chair. Don’t have your own tent? Find someone who will lend you theirs, or share a tent with someone else!
Lake Maria State Park is home to one of the few remaining stands of the “Big Woods” in Minnesota that used to cover the southern portions of the state. This park is home to multiple trails to explore various skill levels, including a boardwalk though a marsh! (That said, do not suit in the marshlands). It is also home to various wildlife such as the Blanding’s Turtle, an endangered species in the parks that you might happen to spot as you hike around! Hang out with your fellow campers and chill by the campfire, or explore the trails around the park.
You will need a state park permit to park at the site. Please see registration link for more venue rules.

Fursuit Friendly?: Yes, come be fluffy! Please be mindful of the wildlife, and do not suit in the marshlands.
