Everyone involved with MNFurs realize that everyone has their own style of keeping track and communicating with local furs. We don’t rely on one form of communication and what people use is always evolving. Because of this we set up a web of communication that you can keep track and talk with MNFurs.
As you see the website acts as a bouncing platform where you can find ways of keeping track. MNFurs website front page will always keep track of the latest announcements and changes to schedule. And our Forums can let you get together with local members of the furry community.
This site also has a built in calendar in a format that most major platforms use. This link will allow your calendar app keep track of local furry events and common conventions that people go to.
We also provide a RSS feed that can be used by any RSS reader to keep track of major announcements. The Forums also have their own RSS feed
There are many other RSS feeds on site – Just look for the RSS image.
We have a page on Fur Affinity under the username MNFurs. It is actively maintained and updated.
We are experimenting with Facebook here and Twitter here. We are just learning the ropes on how to actively maintain it.
We have a Livejournal community page it is not as actively maintained but we will be trying to be more active with it on getting announcements in timely fashion in the future.
Even though the website has it’s own photo gallery we also have a Flckr group located here that anyone can put their pictures at.
And we also have a email mailing list for announcements currently being host at Yahoo Groups. In the future we will discontinued using them and move to another service of some sort. When that happens we hope to be able to migrate the list over.
Again keeping up and keeping in contact with people in MNFurs shouldn’t be a chore. If you have any suggestions or comments about how to keep everyone better in contact please feel free to post a comment in the forum.
