Staff at the con? Volunteered at a picnic? Ran an event? You’ve got volunteer hours, and time is running out to submit them! Volunteer hours are how you vote, so be sure to get them in before it’s too late!
Volunteering is the lifeblood of a group like MNFurs – it’s how events get run and the con is as spectacular as it is. But here, volunteering is more than just how you get a warm fuzzy feeling for being involved. 20 hours of volunteering let you vote on who is on the MNFurs board, which lets you directly decide with your efforts the direction of the group! Elections are in March, so volunteer hours must be submitted for this year’s elections no later than March 26 to be approved and considered. But it’s a very simple process to submit your hours. On the MNFurs website after you’ve logged in, you can go to your profile, or the dropdown from your icon on the upper right corner, and choose “Your MNFurs Membership”. Simply click ‘Enter Hours’, fill out the form, and submit. You’re done, that’s it!
