Come and enjoy a night of camping at the Wild River State Park for our 18+ Bear Essentials Camp! Take some fursuit photos with the fall colors and chill by the campfire with your fellow furs, enjoy the expansive hiking trails, and try and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife! You’ll be self-sufficient by bringing your own food, tent, and chairs. It will be the start of fall, so be sure to pack accordingly! If you don’t have your own tent, sleeping bag, or camping chair then try and get one before the event or find somebody willing to lend you theirs. Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed per state park rules.
Sites 80, 70E, 76, 78 are reserved, we are limited to 9 tents total between all 4 sites. If you have tents large enough to fit multiple people, please tent together, as the State Park is strict on how many tents you can have per site! If you need electricity, site 70E will have a box for people to use, otherwise be sure to bring your own external batteries to charge devices. There is limited parking at each campsite (2 vehicles per site for all but site 80, which allows 4), however overflow parking is available.
You MUST have MN State Park vehicle permits to park at the site, which can be bought at the park, $7 per day or a year pass for $35.
If you want to bring your own firewood, it either has to be bought at the park or from a local vendor. Wood CANNOT be brought from home due to risk of invasive species spread.
Cost: $20 per tent, paid for at the following link: https://mnfurs.regfox.com/bear-essentials-campout
