Hi guys, gals and everything in between!

Summer is turning into fall and soon winter will be upon us. I can’t think of a better way to stay warm than to stay inside and plan the MNFurs / Furry Migration room party!

We are making a comeback this year at the Double Tree in Bloomington and are looking for individuals interested in helping to plan, run and help setup before con, during con and after con. A word of warning: this convention is capped at a pre-determined number. Meaning if you don’t register before it’s sold out, you can’t get in. The same can be said for hotel rooms during the convention.

We are looking for individuals interested in planning and running the MNFurs’ room party from April 22^nd to the 24^th2016. Registration for Anime Detour is not required, but recommended to get the most out of the convention. If you plan on helping during the convention registration is required.

I know many furries who go to AD. Some even run panels and their own events. May I suggest that you at least chime in on this thread to say what you are doing. Help us promote and offer to all other furries going a list of all the activities for fellow them to attend.

Awesome to hear there will be others at AD!

It appears there are a few of you who are going are also interested in helping out for the room party. The hours given for room parties are Friday 3pm to Sunday. Sunday is optional for room parties since most people are packing up and returning home.

The first couple of things to solidify is theme and hours. It has been recommended to keep the theme simple, possibly just “Meet the Furs” We could build on this if others have suggestions as well. Once we have the theme sorted, we can take a look at the schedule.

So the first order of business. What are some ideas for a theme? “Meet the Furs”, “Furry Tails”

FYI: Anime Detour’s registration is at 93% which means the con has almost hit it’s registration cap.

Since the MNFurs room party is in convention space you must be register to help or even stop by the room party.

And before you ask – yes we still need help with the room party 🙂 We will always need more help 🙂
