Darth Rideous and I would like to thank everyone who attended the MNFurs Spring Picnic! Thank you to our grill masters, Tek and Sike, for keeping us well fed. Thanks to Arashiin for keeping our food supplies well stocked. Thank you to Larus, Ringer and SilverArcan for the badge and button designs that they submitted. Thank you to Snap and Twisted who manned the Furry Migration booth throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who brought something to share. And finally, thank you to all the people who helped during clean up at the end of the day.
We raised a lot of money to help keep MNFurs in the black, so that we can continue to do awesome events throughout the year, and hopefully soon get our scholarship program off the ground! Through your donations, the force was strong in Darth Rideous and I, but alas, the Sith Lord had slightly more force points (fueled by your donations) at the end of the day. And so, when it came time for our light saber duel, he was able to defeat me and take control of the MNFurs Picnic! He will be running the next picnic (coming late summer), and we must all be vigilant. The Sith Lord’s power grows and my informants have heard disturbing rumors that Rideous might use his power to try to take over Furry Migration. I promise you all, we will be ready for him.
