We have tallied all the votes we received. We still need to confirm mail-in votes at this time. However, statistically, we can clearly announce the winners of the 2023 Minnesota Furs Board of Directors. Our new directors are Jericho “Dirge” Nordstrom and Douglas “Giza White Mage” Muth each with 12 votes. Caitlyn “Carmabella” Downen received six votes, and Edward “Alli Coyote” Cardenas received five votes. Final vote tallies will be reported as soon as possible.
While elected earlier than in past years, we are working to transition information and duties between outgoing and incoming board members more smoothly. All will be in attendance for the Board Retreat to be held in February 2023. The new board members will be fully seated as voting board members effective April 1st, 2023 for a two year term ending March 31st, 2025. Patrick “Yancha” Cain with Michael “Midnight” Zupec will conclude their terms.
